Network/Field Service Engineer


Providing professional and friendly onsite & remote support to our client base for a wide variety of support issues. Installing, configuring and troubleshooting of IT related hardware and software. Install and setup of network devices – wireless access points, switches, firewall, routers, etc. Supporting senior engineers on project installs. Actively seeking opportunities to improve client’s IT systems and IT operations. Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering excellent customer service. Communicating progress and issues both internally and to clients. Recording in detail all work carried out within a call logging system and document management system. Ensuring service level agreement targets are met.


  • A third level relevant technical qualification or alternative
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in field service, preferably in an MSP environment
  • Experience supporting & installing Win7/Win10 devices
  • Server experience – installing/troubleshooting – Win2012-2019 including HyperV
  • Microsoft 365 – install/config/migrate Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams including Voice, MDM
  • Professional certifications, in particular around Microsoft 365 an advantage
  • Networking – install/config wireless access points, switches, routers, and firewalls (Sonicwall, Lancom, UniFi)
  • Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and documentation skills
  • The ability to take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution
  • Full Clean Driver’s License
